 | August 26th, 2007 to August 30th, 2009 | Wattle Steam Shuttles
K190 and K153 are up Hursty way for the third year in a row operating shuttles between Hurstbridge and Diamond Creek stations, fine weather, nice open scenery, only thing that went wrong was my tiredness from all the gunzelling, a few bad decisions were made that had me miss out on the last few opportunities. Nonetheless, went better than expected. Please Enjoy!

 | November 30th, 2007 | Wandong & Heathcote Junction
From a few visits to Heatcote Junction so far it has been an interesting place. More visits and photos of this area to come in the future. You gotta love that cutting!

 | February 1st, 2002 | Unrefurbished Comengs
The Comengs were built in the early 80's and became the last suburban train made by Vicrail and the last train to be based on the earlier fleet which included the Taits, Harris's and Hitachis. The original unrefurbished Comeng was a developed model of the Hitachi which had improvements such as bigger windows, air conditioning, carpet and lots of other features that had people noticing the shortcomings of the Hitachis for the first time. Following Privatisation the Comeng fleet was divided and two different refurbishments were carried out around 2000-2003. Nowadays, the only Comengs you will see in this unrefurbished condition would be burnt out stored at a workshop somewhere.

|
 | October 18th, 2008 to November 13th, 2008 | The Bumblebees of St Kilda
The swarm of bumblebee trams from Mulhouse in France has arrived, so by simply walking along the tram line to St Kilda with my camera ready I was able to gunzel these unusual looking things. This is the result.

 | January 3rd, 2008 to January 11th, 2009 | Sydney 2008-9
A collection compiled from my recent trip to Sydney on the dawn of 2008. Lots here, hope you enjoy!

 | December 5th, 2007 | Sunbury Trackside
A lot during 2003-2005 I rode to Sunbury many times for the comfy ride but I never thought about Sunbury itself being a fantastic place to head trackside. It wasn't until a week ago that I decided to go check the place out. So here in a nice sunny afternoon are some tranquil pics of the many types of trains that serve the colourful town. Well worth the visit!
|
 | November 30th, 2007 to February 17th, 2008 | Stony Point Line
Pics taken down Frankston way of the Stony Point locomotive service and the Long Island freighter. More photographic trips planned down this way soon as the locomotive service won't be around for much longer.
|
 | February 20th, 2008 | Springhurst Vs Chiltern
The two smallest towns served by the Albury line were visited together.
Which was better? Well Chiltern has the nicer station whilst Springhurst has a viaduct for the SG track to pass over an access road to the station.
Anyways enjoy and have a see for yourself which place takes to your liking more.

 | December 12th, 2007 | Seaholme Part II
The return to my favourite gunzelling area yet, and more adventurous than the first time. This time the snakes and swamps were the least of my worries. Check out this collection to see how I got by.

 | February 18th, 2008 | Melton and The Legend of The Great Weir
Stories were told of an earlier expedition by a group of gunzels in search of some nice photos. However disaster struck when they reached this so called weir a few kilometres into their journey. Attempts to cross the weir were made, one of them nearly got stuck. This forced them to abandon their journey and return covered in mud.
Join me for an adventure across Melton's red dusty desert in search of a so called Weir Viaduct. Is the legend true? Does a vast weir really lie at the base of this red rocky region? See for yourself.

 | February 1st, 2002 | Hitachis
Hitachis which first came to Melbourne in 1972 known also Martin and King cars or silvers have been traversing Melbourne's suburbs ever since. Initially popular for their ultra modern silver look they continue to stand out (particularly to the railfan community) against the rest of Melbourne's sparks because of their age, numbers, they still exist in The met livery and of course their design being a modern version of the earlier Harris trains and an older version that the Comengs improved on. This gallery is dedicated to the Hitachi fleet, long live the silvers!

 | September 24th, 2007 | Gunzelling across the streams of Seaholme
Finally I have visited this much area deprived of gunzelling. Seaholme is a nice beachy town in the west of Melbourne, neglected mainly because of nearby Newport, and its isolation behind industrial areas and vacant land. Fantastic town, see for yourself.

Quite a day it was, began trackside at Moonee Ponds, then headed to Spencer St for a V'line trip to Euroa.
|
 | October 1st, 2007 | Eureaka! it's time to snipe sparks...
...Actually not worth a visit yet. This collection should expand when I properly spark snipe during the daytime next time I visit Melbourne's Eureaka Tower. (whenever that is)

 | January 20th, 2008 to September 6th, 2008 | Castlemaine's Goldfield Railway
The Victorian Goldfields is deemed to be one of the best tourist railways in Victoria. Two trips up to Castlemaine has served me well with photos despite both times being overcasted. Once again, enjoy.
